1st Vice District Governor Lion Fanny Chu was born in Hong Kong, educated in the U.S,A. (Minnesota and New Orleans) and married to spouse Joseph Chu since 1974. Both Daughter Melissa and Son Victor were active Leos and Lion. The Chu Family is growing with granddaughter Violet (S. CA) and a grandson on the way (Seattle).
Lion Fanny has always been service, community and globally-centered both in her Lion and professional life.
Lion Fanny remains an active Lion for 26 years+ since she joined San Francisco Chinatown Lions Club in 1991. In addition, Lion Fanny has served D4c4 in many positions including Leo Chair, two times Region Chair and trainer in the MERLO and Global Leadership Team. Lion Fanny received many Lions Awards and Recognitions, notably two International President’s Awards and most recently 2017 MD4 Region Chair award. Lion Fanny is a LCIF Melvin Jones Fellow, Don Stanaway Fellow and Helen Keller Fellow.
Lion Fanny is a successful realtor, a known instructor and media host/guest. She often serves as trainer, speaker, and presenter on the US and Global Real Estate. Lion Fanny holds many leadership positions in her professional life, using her unique knowledge and expertise to serve the Real Estate Industry on local, state and global level.
Lion Fanny believes it’s paramount for Lions to be recognized for their community involvement and service projects. Her theme is “Be Seen, Be Heard & Be Known”.
